I have a maytag drier and i broke off the plastic dial for the timer in which i ordered a new one for like 13 bucks.... However I broke the metal piece that is attached to the timer as well....

Is there a way to replace this metal piece ( That goes from the dial switch to the timer inside the main panel)

Instead of ordering a new 60 dollar timer ???? if anyone has replaced their old timer maybe they could sell me this metal piece ???

Sorry to tell you this, but you will have to replace the timer. The shaft is part of the timer. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
