I have a similar problem with my Amana Raytheon LEA60AW. Replaced the timer but new timer also does not advance. Which do you think it is, the thermostat or the resistor? The timer works on other cycles, such as PermaPress.

You did not say similar to what problem?
Do not have a wiring diagram for this unit but usually the cycling thermostat and the resistor are used during Perm Press cycle.
What exactly is the problem?
