Default Timer Knob
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: GLEQ642AS2
Age: 1 - 4 years

The timer knob is broken. I figured "buy another and put it on". I bought one at a local store but it WILL NOT GO ON THE STEM! And now it's boogered up and probably not even returnable. I'd gone online to get a part number for a Fridigaire model GLEQ642AS2 dryer and got part number AP2108065 which translates to 134042600 on several web sites (not yours however).

Now I want to buy a part from you. I'm returning it if it doesn't just slip right on! I read reviews from 4 people who bought a knob from you and they "installed" the knob with no problems (1 guy used one hand - sheesh).

most dryer knobs come with a metal insert in the plastic sleeve. check to see if the old knob left its metal insert on the timer stem.
