Exclamation Timer does not work
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LET7848AQO
Age: 5 - 10 years

hello,
My dryer does not have any issues with heating up or cooling down. I keep the hose and unit clean of any lint. The problem I have is that the timer does not advance. If I set the dryer for 40 minutes (really does not matter what time), it stays at 40 minutes and does not move. I have to manually turn off the dryer so I do not waste too much energy. Need advice please on what this is and what the cost may be. Is this something I can fix or am I better off getting another dryer?

Replace the timer. I have replaced quite a few timers on that model. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com
