Default Thermostat
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: DDE8200VACHA
Age: More than 10 years

Can a DDE8200 cycling thermomstat be used on a 20+ year old dryer. The picture looks the same but the VACHA part of my model number doesn't display on the lists?

The ending of the model number is normally to do with color or other special features.

The thermostat would be the same for all dryers of that age made by that manufacture.

Here is a link to the common parts of your dryer model dde8200.
