I would doubt it was a bad fuse
Sounds like still you have an air flow problem
You have cleaned the inside of the dryer and the vent.
So I would look at three areas:
1. Make sure the exterior vent cover opens correctly when running.
2. Clean the blower wheel and housing, if you have not done this already.
A relatively small amount of crud on the blades can drastically reduce air flow.
Also check that wheel/fan is tight on the motor's shaft
3. Check the drums rotation. It should turn fairly easily. It is difficult to explain "fairly easily" so you may want to try a couple other dryers first to get a feel for it.
Also try pushing down on the front of the drum while rotating to see if the front support glides/slides are shot.
Could be the drum supports are going (especially the front). This puts extra strain on the motor, it runs slower, your air flow is less and you blow the fuse |
