i also have a thermal fuse issue...i have a 1 yr old roper heavy duty dryer..model number RED4440SQ0......i have replaced the thermal fuse 2 times in a week...i have cleaned everything....first time it dried one load..i noticed the dyer alittle to warm...i had it on high setting....there is 3 - low,med,and high...so...got another fuse...thinking something having to do with ventaliation..we kept the vent off and it worked for 2 loads....med setting dyer seemed good..not to hot either..but i turne it to high and it wasnt 30 mins..fuse blowed...do i need a new high thermal setting fuse or whatever it is also ??????

It sound like the dryer is operating on the high limit thermostat instead of the operating thermostat.

If that is the case you will have to replace the operating thermostat.
