I just wanted to thank everyone here for the insightful questions and answers. Although I did not post a question - our problem - we were able to find the answer by searching through previou questions and answers.

The information on this forum is top notch and very helpful.

Here was our delinma: dryer making loud rumbling noise. We had replaced bearings in an older dryer so we thought on the newer dryer would just as easy. Well it wasn't. We first had to figure out how to get the front off. Took us hours. (But had we come to this site sooner, it would have taken minutes! ), So we stopped for the night, and thought about calling a repair man. But then I found this site - So - then we figured out how to get the drum front cover off, what to look for etc. All was spelled out in several different post. I even found the manual for my model from a link in another post.

Anyway the loud noise ended up being the drum roller supports. One was worn completely through. This took maybe 1.5 hours max. (once we figured out what we were doing!!)

We have discovered this type of part wearing out on 2 different dryers is due to our 1) over loading the dryer and 2) excessive towel wasing and drying

Just wanted to thank you all your help. You all are top notch.
