Red face It Takes 3 times as long to dry a load
Brand: Roper
Model Number: REX4664K617
Age: More than 10 years

It is taking 3 times longer to throughly dry a load.
The drum is tumbling and the heating element is on.
The filter and vents are clean.

Could it be a bad heating coil? or maybe a bad thermostat?
Which part should I possibly replace?

Thank You for any advise

Howard

Default

Take out the heater box, and remove heat element, and look for broken coil that re welded it's self to ground, and only running off 120volts
