People, has anyone check there dryer vent outside to see if you are getting good air flow? If you are not sure if you are getting the proper air flow, take the vent off the back off the dryer, and pull it away from the wall, and run a cycle. If it works OK, the vent is clogged. If it doesn't work OK, it will definely be the cycling thermostat. If you need me, I can be reached at T. PAONE's APPLIANCE SALES & SERVICE GUIDE Tom

I have a Wirlpool stackable washer dryer model # LT7000XVWO. It is taking 3 times longer to throughly dry a load.
The drum is tumbling and the heating element is on.
The filter and vents are clean.

Could it be a bad heating coil? or maybe a bad thermostat?
Which part should I possibly replace?

Thank You for any advise

I think before we start replacing parts, what I would like you to do is take the vent hose off of the wall, and keep it on the dryer end, and see if you can run the vent hose away from the dryer, and run a cycle. If you want, put a panty hose on the end of the hose, so no lint goes in the house. A clogged vent is so mis diagnosed. Alot of air should be coming out outside the house. If you need me come to my web site. T. PAONE's APPLIANCE SALES & SERVICE GUIDE Tom

Hi I bet your vents partially clogged, if u disconnect vent from house than run a full load and c if it drys quicker, granted your house may heat up a bit but that will tell u if have a partially clogged vent or not jpg

Does your dryer vent through the wall or through the roof?
