Unhappy Surprised
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 1 - 4 years

I don't want to be all negative here but I see that people are reading and responding to general posts AND I asked if I was going to catch my house on fire or ruin my dryer completely and nobody responded! Here is my original post. Please help.

Subject: Fire Hazard or Other Concern
I popped open the top of my dryer and the belt is shredded so obviously dryer won't spin. Dryer heats. What is the worst that can happen if I use the dryer until I can get a belt? I MUST do laundry with kids off school this week. Please advise if this is possible. Much appreciated!

Hi,

The worst that can happen is that you Burn The House Down and Someone Dies in the Fire.
