The problem is the run winding in the motor has failed.

You will need to replace the motor.

Here is a link to the parts of your dryer model 110.63932101.

Here is the motor.

Yes it is running on the start winding.

There are two winding in the motor.

The start winding gets the motor turning and then the run winding takes over.

Your run winding is opened so your dryer is only running on the start winding while you hold the start button.

You will have to replace the motor.

Do you have the wiring diagram for this unit?
Quite often they put it in the control panel.

I could not find a wiring diagram for this dryer so the below is a bit of a guess.
Usually when you push the START button, the RUN and AUX (starter) windings are in circuit.
The motor comes up to speed
The centrifugal switches change state re: normally closed to normally open
This disconnects the AUX winding and connects the RUN winding to an alternate wire
This alternate wire goes to a set of contacts in the timer and provides power to the RUN winding

Therefore:
1. On a strong motor it could run on the AUX winding only, if the RUN winding is open, when you let go of the START button the unit dies. AUX has been switched out of circuit
2. If the centrifugal switch does not switch over the same applies
3. If the timer does not close the contacts it dies
