Red face Squeeking dryer!!!
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FSE748GFS1
Age: 5 - 10 years

My dryer started making a terrible squeeking noise, then it started catching clothes in the top edge of the dryer by the door (it seems to be between the drum and the case of the dryer. It still dryes great, but is ruining a lot of my clothes. I think it may be some kind of seal or something, Please HELP!!

Hi,

The front of the dryer has some pads on a felt strip that the drum ride on.
You should check them.
Like on this frigidaire dryer.

Front Drum Bearing

I would also take a look at the rear drum bearing too.
Often times the front and rear bearing needs to be replaced at the same time.
