Default Squeaky noise from my dryer
Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: NLL113EYOWO
Age: 5 - 10 years

My dryer makes this noise like when your brakes are touching the metal, a really loud noise. The dryer works well but also noticed black rubber tiny pieces comming out of the dryer form the back plates. I think it could be the teflon bearing. If this is the case how do I change it. I already open the top and the belt is fine but I don't know how to get to the back.
Can you help me , Please?
thank you.

Can you please verify your model number?

The model number should be on a tag with the serial number.

The model number that you are giving will not come up in our model number search.

Are you getting the number off a tag with the serial number on it?

Where was the dryer purchased?

The dryer was purchased in St. petersburg,Florida, in a montgomery ward store that closed. I am getting the model number next to the serial # TZ708758W.
Maybe the the oo in the model # are 2 zeros.
Thanks.

I checked in the owner's manual and the model is NLL113, not NLL113EYOWO.

To get to the back of the dryer you must take the front off and remove the drum.

You have the top lifted so look inside the top of the dryer and you should see a screw in each side holding the front on.

Check the bearing in the back and the glides in the front.

Here is a link to your dryer model NLL113ey0yo.

The first o was a zero and the second was an O.
