This morning my dryer worked, now it acts like it works, spins and runs, but it only has cold air. I think heating element but could it be something simple? Its Christmas and I can't afford a service call.

The first thing to check is the fuse or circuit breaker in you home.

The dryer is run with two thirty amp fuse or breakers.

One runs the dryer and the other heats the dryer.

If the dryer is getting 240 volts check for wire that may be burnt off.

Check the element for continuity.
