Default Smoke from fusebox, burnt buss fuse
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.66652501
Age: 1 - 4 years

A few days ago dryer came on briefly then shut off. Replaced 2 -250 V fuses and it worked, but noticed burning smell coming from fusebox. Today, with dryer running on low heat I noticed smoke coming from fuxe box and found one of the fuses was completely burned. How can I tell if this is a problem with the dryer or the wiring?

Default

Disconnect the dryer
Put in new fuses turn on power
If it still blows it is the wiring, if not probably the dryer

There is a good chance your dryer heating element is broken/sagging and shorting to the frame.

Could not find any info using the Model Number you listed
