my dryer will turn on but it would dry the clothes...I don't know what is wrong with it...it's an old dryer but it does turn on but it won't dry the clothes...any suggestions would be appreicated...thanks!!!!!

The first thing you should check is your house fuses.

There are two fuses to operate the dryer.

Check for a wire burnt of were the core runs in to the dryer.

Check the heating element to see if it has continuity.

Check the wires on the motor switch and the switch.

Check the timer wires.

Can you please supply the model number of your dryer?
