Runs for a second, then blows fuse Brand: Admiral Model Number: Capacity Plus Age: 5 - 10 years Just cleaned out all the lint. This is the first thing I did after the dryer started blowing the house fuse for the first time since we bought it.
Getting good flow throughout (the vent tube to outside is only about a year old too), and it still blows the house circuit after about one second of being turned on, or as soon as the gas starts to come on and ignite. Will run fine if I have the temperature set to cool.
I've never really dug into one of these before, but consider myself handy enough to fix it, if I have some direction.
Can anyone tell me what the most likely problem is and how to fix it? This gas dryer has been working flawlessly since the day we bought it about 5 years ago...until now.
Thanks in advance!
