Unhappy Replacing Front Door Panel Clips
Brand: White-Westinghouse
Age: 5 - 10 years

Our White Westinghouse Dryer quit working and I took it apart and it needed the rear bearing replaced. I purchased the kit and installed it with just a little bit of difficulty. However when I was closing up the cabinet, I can not get the 2 clips on the bottom of the front door panel to go back on. Is there some type of trick to get these 2 clips to go back on in place. I am almost ready to drill holes and bolt on a bracket on each side to close it up. Please HELP!!!!

After a day or so I figured out to replace the clips. I don't know if this is the best way but it works. I had screwed on the front panel and everything was done except hooking the front clips at the bottom of the front panel. This didn't work. You have to put the clips on the bottom corners and then lift the front panel onto the clips. Then you have to put the clips half way up the front into their holes and last fasten with the screws nearer the top. If you still have trouble doing it this way, you can do one side at a time. This helps to hold the panel on with one screw while you attach the other side. Just be sure the drum is over top the front door glides. Close the top and you should be ready to go.
