Hello,

The front felt seal became tangled up around the font of the drum. How is this attached? I've searched but could find any DIY info on replacing the front seal? Is there any DIY info on this?

Thanks

The felt seal is attached with high temperature adhesive.

Here is the part number for the adhesive. PS1509626.

The only do-it-yourself manuals that are available are at a library or book store.

Before you take the dryer apart unplug it.

To get at the seal remove the screws along the edge where the door closes.

Lift the top and remove the two screws on the inside that hold the front to the cabinet.

Tilt the front toward you and pull up. Watch the wires.

Here is a link to your dryer model DPSR405EA0ww.
