Default Replace dryer belt
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: mde3600
Age: 5 - 10 years
How does the belt get re-installed? I put it on (under motor shaft and under tension roller) and around drum and it remains two to three inches loose. What am I missing?

Here is a service manual

You may have threaded the belt wrong around the idler/tension pulley

Just in case the manual does not cover your unit here are a few more belt/idler setups
