Default Pilot to electronic
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: DG212
Age: More than 10 years

I have a Maytag DG212 gas dryer - with 240 - 50Hz Gas Valve (pilot with pressure switch PS73307) the thermo coupler is malfunctioning - Is there a way that I can replace the existing gas valve with a newer low maintenance electronic gas valve? Unit runs on LPG gas. Please advise. Thank you.

We do not answer question on gas appliances.

The best thing to do is ask a qualified gas technician.
