Hello, kenmore/whirlpool gas dryer started acting up after drying two blankets, copious amounts of lint! Dryer tumbles, heats to a point but even after an hour clothes are only warm and damp...could the blanket klint have plugged the old girl?...I have ordered some parts to quiet the drum (roller kits) and will put in a new belt and seals if worn, but my question is How does the blower get driven?...and could the plastic blower fan itself be melted?...is there a seperate belt for the fan? Any help b 4 i take it apart would be great...thanx

Check the vent hose for lint build up.

The fan is on the other end of the motor so when the motor turns so does the fan.

Here is a link to the parts of your dryer model 11087681100.
