My dryer makes thumping noise, and no it is not overloaded. Very loud no matter how many clothes are in it. Also takes a long time to dry. Any ideas?

That dryer drum sits on rollers in the rear, that is most likely you problem. If you are going to take the product apart to replace the rollers, do the idler pully, and the belt at the same time.
