Question No Hot Air
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: LEN3634DW1
Age: 5 - 10 years

No Hot Air

What my dryer does:
Goes through the complete drying cyclye (Like there was no problem.)
Timer runs, the unit tumbles with no apparant problems

What I have done:
I took apart both the heating (Noticed some burning around the elements walls.)
and cooling sections and completely cleaned them. I then cleaned and visually checked all connections. They looked good. I did not test any components or connections electrically.

After reading some of the other posts I think I should:
Check the thermal fuse?
Check the element?

Other item of note:
When I was checking out the tumble section of the dryer I noticed what appeared to be some burn marks around the air holes that the hot air enters the chamber through.

try ohming out the heating element to see if it did not get broken when you took it out.

Do you mean check for continuity? Or Resistance? I know they are essentially the same in this instance but the verbage confused me.
