[WRC123]

I have an ESTATE,Heavy Duty,Large Capacity gas dryer that stays running (won't time dry) and has no HEAT.The dryer has been used (light to moderate) for 4-5 years.I have been reading up on the threads and came across a simple fix in my book THERMAL FUSE!!!!!!! Could this be my problem?????

If the thermal fuse is open that is telling you there is likely a problem with the dryer over heating.

Where your dryer is gas it should be check by a qualified gas technician.

I opened up the front of dryer and and took the belt off the tumbler and turned the dryer on my normal cycle.The heating chamber ignites and stays lit for about 20 seconds and then shuts off for about a minute and then ignites again for about another 20 seconds and then shuts off again for about another minute and then ignites again.Timer does not move.Is this normal for the dryer to ignite so many times?Does it sound like the TIMER went?

No it is not the timer there is a problem with one of the sensors.
