Default No heat- door latch?
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 110.63112100
Age: 5 - 10 years

My electric dryer has no heat. While checking it out I noticed the door latch is broken. The door shuts but not through the center of the the latch. The dryer tumbles but no heat. Is there a connection or should I keep looking?

I do not have the wiring diagram of your unit but I would keep looking
Here is the link to your parts
Kenmore Parts for Models 11063112100

it shows the latch is just a pop in type and does not have a switch
Also if it is the door switch the motor/tub will not run

Thanks Denman. Guess I'll check the heating element.
