Hello TALLPAINTING

First thing are you on fuse or breaker? if fuses you may have one bad fuse.
A dry will run with 120v but needs 240v to heat up the coil...

Most of the time its the coil that goes something like a bra wire gets through the back holes and takes out the heating coil.
P.S. always disconnect power before service!!

Hope this helps

Mark

here is a link to your dryer with a wiring diagram
Frigidaire FDE437GHS0 Parts List

Try different cycle types with different fabric settings to narrow down the cause

I recommend you buy yourself a volt/ohm meter, if you do not have one.
You can get a decent digital one for under $20.00. you do not need anything fancy.
Try to get one with leads a couple feet long
If it can save you from buying one unnecessary part it has paid for itself

Always undo one side of the device you are checking to ensure you are not measuring an alternate path.

Give the vent system and the dryer a good cleaning/check while you are at it

Possible causes are heat element, thermostat, timer contacts, fabric switch, motor's centrifugal switch, voltage in. Most likely are the heater element or a thermostat
