Try different cycle types with different fabric settings to narrow down the cause
I recommend you buy yourself a volt/ohm meter, if you do not have one.
You can get a decent digital one for under $20.00. you do not need anything fancy.
Try to get one with leads a couple feet long
If it can save you from buying one unnecessary part it has paid for itself
Always undo one side of the device you are checking to ensure you are not measuring an alternate path.
Give the vent system and the dryer a good cleaning/check while you are at it
