We purchased a new washer and dryer and when we got home it does not have a dryer buzzer. I called back to the store and the salesman said not all dryers have a buzzer and you have to ask for one if you want it???? Never heard of that and never thought to ask. It was not a cheap dryer. Purchased from Sears. My questions...can a dryer buzzer be added. This has been several years now and I have hated my dryer every day since we bought it for that reason. I run and set my timer on my oven to approximate time I think the dryer will run.

I would think not. The buzzer works off of the timer. You would have to have a different timer and you can't switch timers from one model to another
