 Neptune Dryer Won't Heat or Start Brand: Maytag Model Number: MDG4000BWW Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Maytag Neptune that doesn't always dry. I have to turn it on timed minutes and it may or may not start or dry. I have to turn the dial to get it to where the heat light on the dryer comes on otherwise it just turns but no heat. If I open the door and hit start again, sometimes there's no heat. I'll have to turn the dial again to get it to work. And sometimes when I turn the dial while it's on, it doesn't go off when I turn it to off. I have to open the door to get it to stop. It won't start when I hit the start button on more or less dry. I can only get it to dry on timed and even there I have to fidget with it sometimes to get it to start. What part or parts do I need to get it working again? |
