First i am having trouble opening the dryer up. How do it open it? And does anyone know how to reset the high limit stat on an LG dryer

To open the dryer use a putty knife to press in on the clips that are between the top and the front panel.

If the high limit thermostat has open it will have to be replaced.

If the high limit thermostat opened the dryer must have over heated.

You should find out why.

Check the vent and make sure it is not blocked.

For part for your LG dryer you will have to call LG (Gold Star)
1-800-243-0000

Make sure that you have your model and serial number when you call.
