Having an issue. Just got motor and i am wondering if i have to remove the drum to repalce the motor. Hoping somebody can help. I would rather not have to remove all of that stuff.

Yes you have to remove the drum to replace the motor.

First you will have to remove the lower front panel by removing the two screws located at the bottom of the panel.

Then remove the two screws holding the upper panel in place.

Then remove the screws holding the top down.

Remove the front bulkhead.

Disconnect the belt from the idler pulley.

Using the belt as a handle remove the drum through the front of the cabinet.

Remove wiring harness from the motor.

Remove the blower wheel from the motor.

The wheel has left hand thread.

Remove the two clamps holding the motor to the mount.

To do this take a large flat blade screwdriver and press down and out.
