I have been reading these threads and have replaced the wheels and belt. Upon discovering that it still squeaks, I investigated further and found the squeak coming from the motor. It sounds as if it needs oiling. I couldn't really get in to disassemble.I was able to hit it with WD-40, and that helped a little. I know this isn't a solution, but what should I use? Is the shaft removable? What type of grease should I use?

Anything you use to stop the noise on that motor it is temporary. It will eventually seize. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

WD-40 is pretty useless as a lubricant

Any decent oil will do re: 3 IN 1 etc.
Grease is no good as not much of it will work it's way into the bearing
Do not go crazy with the oil as it will hold/attract lint
Oil it, spin it half a dozen times to work in the oil and wipe off the excess
