My Maytag Neptune dryer is suddenly not spinning through a cycle...not always...but most times, I am lucky if it finishes a full 60 mibnute drying time, most times I come down and the dryer is hot, but not spinning....I have totaly taken the dryer apart, cleaned out all compartments and parts....the electronic ignition is good..not sure if it is the belt or the motor could use some help if any one has a clue.

What you need to establish is if the motor is cutting off, and getting hot. If it does cut off, and you are there when it does. try to turn it on immediatly. If it will bot come on it is the motor. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
