Default Maytag moisture sensor bad?
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDE7600AYM
Age: 1 - 4 years

My Maytag stopped making heat on the "Intelli-Dry" setting. It works fine on timed dry. The moisture monitor shows no LEDs illuminated when on Intellidry. Is my moisture sensor bad? If so does it just unbolt? I see where it is mounted under the door.
thanks!!
david

actually the model number is mde7600ayw

Not Familuar With Your Model, But Most Dryers Are Simular, But When The Sensor Gets Coated With Fabric Softner, Clean Sensor With A Cloth Soaked With Some Good House Hold Cleaner, Or Sometimes Alchol Does A Good Job. Then Try And See If That Works .bettyboop

Hello: I have this same model dryer with the exact same problem. Any info on how to get to this sensor would be appreciated. I cannot find my dryer manual.

Thanks, Ron.
