I turned the C/B off to the dryer 2 nights ago to do some work in the house. After C/B was turned back on the dryer will not heat but tumbles and blows fine. Another weird thing is that when the door is opened I see the light on the inside of the dryer turn on then off very quickly and the light does not stay on when the door is opened. I have a feeling the circuit board may be bad or a bad heat relay on the circuit board. Any suggestions from anyone???

You will notice your interior light does not go through the control board
First thing I would do the slowly turn off then back on the CB
Next the door switch

Next try different cycles and temps to try and diagnose the problem

Thank you for your help, tried cycling power on C/B last night with noy joy. Do you think it's possible that L2 is not getting power from C/B panel which provides power to light as well as heater??? Possibly one side of dual gang C/B bad. I'll be checking power to dryer plug tonight.

All, I discovered last night that I was only getting 120 VAC to my drier vice 240 VAC. Went down to read out power coming out of my electrical panel in basement and only one side of the dual gang C/B was providing me with 120 VAC, the other side of the gang C/B was dead. Pulled C/B out of panel and ohmed out the dual gang C/B and one side was closed and the other was open, thus the reason why only the tumble worked because the dryer needs 120 VAC for the tumble motor and the other 120 VAC for the inside light and heating element. So all in all, a 10$ fix with a lot of head scratching.
