I have the Maytag electric dryer model LDE8704ACE and the two drum rollers are bad and need to be replaced. Kindly advice me step by step how to replace the drum rollers, where will I locate the rollers and what tools I need. How long it will take me to replace the rollers .

Also if you can please let me know step by step how to replace the Maytag dryer front gliders . Thanks !

Here is a link to your dryer model LDE8704ACE.

Unplug the dryer.

Remove the two screws in the bottom front corners.

Lift the panel up and swing it out.

Unhook the belt.

Note the way it is on the pulley.

Remove the drum.

The roller are held on with clips.

Remove the clips and replace the rollers.

For the front glides you will need a drill and a rivet gun.

Drill out the old rivets with a small drill bit.

Place new glides in place and pop rivet.

Reassemble in the reverse.
