Default Maytag Dryer Taking 99 minutes for load
Model Number: mde5500ayq
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a maytag neptune and on the normal cycle setting with dry the sensor states that it will take 99 minutes. To me this seems very long and I don't remember what it stated before. I've checked everything else (venting, lint etc.) even replaced the heating element. Does anyone know how long it should take to do a normal load? What I should do next?

Thanks,

Neal

Default

If you are using the normal time dry settin the display will show 99 but you can adjust it.

A normal load of clothes will take about 45 minutes.

Here is a link to your dryer model mde5500ayq.
