Model Number: 41780042990
Age: 5 - 10 years

The drum is loose (wobbily even) in my dryer and it is catching and ruining my clothes...can it be saved? Thanks--Lauren

Lauren, what you have to do is replace the rear bearing kit. Take the top off, and then take the front off the dryer, and then in the back of the dryer, there is an access panel. Take it off, and then take the belt off. Then grab the drum in the middle in the back and pull real hard, and the drum will unseat from the rear hub. Replace everything in the kit, and fill up the white hub with a ton a the lithium greese they give you. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

Thank you--we will give it a whirl. Worse comes to worse we will replace the darn thing but thought we might try to reapir it first. Thank you! Lauren
