Age: 1 - 4 years

2 year old electric LG doesn't turn off in sensor mode. Timer counts down to 6 minutes and then stays there. Dryer will not turn off unless I manually stop it. It will stay at 6 minutes for over an hour and the clothes are so hot it's not funny.

I am not very familar with LG's, but before you replace your control module, make sure your vent is clear. You might want to take the vent hose off the wall, and put a panty hose on the end of the vent hose, and then run a cycle, and see if it advances past the 6 minute mark. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
