Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: GLEQ2152ES0
Age: 1 - 4 years

Ties, drawstrings, etc catch on the lint filter and twist clothes into a mess!
Any advice is appreciated.

Are you sure that they are getting caught on the lint filter?

Could it be that they are getting caught between the drum and the front seal?

If it is the drum and front seal where the clothes are getting caught the seals will have to be replaced.

Yes, I'm sure it is the lint filter that catches the drawstrings and ties.
I'm surprised that nobody else has had this problem with this model dryer!

I also have this problem with my dryer and have ruined many clothes!!! Did you ever find a fix?
