Brand: Maytag
Model Number: neptune, will get # soon
Age: 1 - 4 years

hi, im not all that great with dryers, but im a mechanic by trade, so im not stupid i first pulled the panel apart(4-5 screws) and saw everything was connected(hey sometimes its the easiest things). i made sure it was plugged in and beyond that i wasnt sure what to do. it hasnt thrown a breaker in the house because the light when you open the door stays on. any ideas?

The light possibly could work on 120 volts, but to properly operate dryer, do you have 230 v at the terminal where the power cord goes on the back of dryer?

Sorry about that, the panel it uses no knobs, all buttons and its not working or lighting up, just the door lights up when you open it.
it just kinda quit working one afternoon, ehrn u press the buttons it does nadda, no sounds, no beeps, no nothing. im not sure where to test the power at, im not to bright at electrical stuff but i got an idea at how stuff works.

If you don't know about electrical stuff or know about needing 230 volts I'd advise you call a repair man. This stuff requires some basic knowlege of electricty,
