Default Kenmore Dryer won't heat

Model Number: 417.94812301
Age: 1 - 4 years
The dryer won't heat on this stackable unit. Originally the heating element would stay on unless the control knob was set to "off" (Similar to a post by ray 0341 on 1/13/08). My guess is the element stayed on and the thermal limiter (fuse) blew. Does anyone know where the thermal limiter is on this unit? Should the heating element stay on unless the knob is set to "off"? Thanks in advance.
