Default Kenmore Dryer Switch Wiring
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 11060972990
Age: 5 - 10 years

Dryer Was Not Running Or Running Sporadically.
Ordered New Switch For Door.
Came With 2 New Terminals That Are Plastic Over Metal.
Says To "change Harness Leads D1 And D2".
Do I Cut Off The Old Leads? Re Strip Wire?
How Do I Insert The Wire Into The New Harness? I Have Tried Screwing It Into The Bottom Hole But It Will Not Stay On?
Also, What Is The Correct Wiring Color:
I Have Blue, White And Brown Wires.
The Switch Has 3 Terminals:
1 On 1 Side Called "com"
2 On Other Labelled "nc And No"
Thanks

Default

I do not have a wiring diagram of this unit but hopefully the following will be of some help

The "c" is Common it will go to a thermal fuse or neutral from power in
The "no" is Normally Open it should go to the motor switch
The "nc" is Normally Closed it goes to the interior light

Sorry but I do not understand the problem you have hooking it up
I think the two connectors you received are spade lugs
Do any of the existing wires have a spade lug on them?

Default Kenmore Dryer Not Running Continuously

Okay, Replaced The Switch Door And Reconnected The Wires With New Female Terminals.
It Runs For A Cycle.
When We Go To Change The Laundry- Now Dried, It Does Not Work.
There Is Power.
What Gives??
