OK.... Long story short -

Dryer not drying, running slow, noisy. Replace the motor - runs great but now blows thermal fuse. Replaced the thermal fuse, thermostat, and while I was at it, the belt, rollers and idler pully spring. It runs quietly and has worked great for about a month but just today it has blown the themal fuse again.

Of course I cleaned it before I did anything - and have great air flow - at the outside exhaust vent it aggressively agitates vegiation a foot+ away. I have jumped the thermal fuse and am in business again but don't like to run it that way.

I have searched a bit and am about to order a new fuse/thermostat and heating element (possibly shorted?). Not sure where else to go with this. Suggestions?

Thanks,

Dan Rasmussen

You need to also replace the overload thermostat. It's supposed to open before the fuze blows!!
You still may have a venting problem, need to measure airflow with meter.
Just check the output temperature, might be higher than 150 degrees.
