Default Kenmore dryer felt came off into the clothes compartment
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 96583120
Age: More than 10 years

i can still run the dryer but it sounds like iron rubbing iron. I have attempted to
push the felt "ring/belt" into gap but it just comes right off. it does not look like there was any adhesive to hold it in place either. any help with what part i should order and how to put it in is greatly appreciated.

you have to order a new front or rear felt drum seal, comes with special glue, for rear seal.(use sparingly) a little dab i'll do ya. You didn't say if it was front or rear felt seal,

i think it is the rear felt drum seal? it is at the far end of the drum; i have to reach into the clothes compartment. is there a part number or can i simply order any rear felt drum seal? my dryer is so old that search for the model doees not return any results..
