Default Kenmore Dryer Beeping
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 11060092990
Age: 5 - 10 years

Dryer would not start. Thermal fuse was checked and it was okay. I just replaced the electronic panel again. Now the dryer turns on but won't turn off unless you open the door. It makes a constant beeping noise.
If someone could get back to me right away, I'd appreciate it. If it is going to be another costly part, I may just wnat to buy a new dryer. I only have a few days to return the control board.

Thanks

With the new control board in the dryer is everything working?

Is the beeping coming from the control?

Here is a link to the parts of your dryer model 11060092990.

Default Kenmore dryer

Yes the beeping is coming from the control board. The dryer turns on automatically with the timer already set. We had the power off all weekend and turned it on this morning. It seems to be suddenly working properly. We are going to try running a full cycle and see if it continues to work. ANy thoughts on what caused this? Just in case it happens again.

When the new board was install was a ground strap worn.

If not something may have happen to the board.

By unplugging the dryer the board must have reset itself.

Default Dryer not working

I can't believe it but the dryer is not turning on again.
It worked for awhile once we replaced the control board. But now nothing turns on at all.
I tried turn the power off again, just as I did before and left it off overnight
But it is dead.
It's too late to return the electronic board we just purchased. Any thoughts on what to do next - short of buying a new dryer

You will have to check to see where you are loosing power with a meter.

That is about the only way to find out for sure.
