we are having a problem with our kenmore dryer. first it started making some light squealing noises, then a vibrating when you first turned it on. yesterday when i turned it on it made a very loud vibrating/squeal and the drum didn't seem to move right away...eventually it got going and seemed ok except for an occasional squeal. today when i tried to turn it on, it simply does that deep squeal but the drum will not spin at all. this is a pretty old dryer we bought used a few years ago so we don't have any repair guides or info other than the model #. just wondering if anyone can advise us on where to start figuring out the issue and give us an idea on how to fix it?

update: we took clothes out. turned the drum a few times by hand...then hit the start button and it started! still starts off with that grinding noise and a constant loud hum...but hopefully can at least get this load of clothes dried. Anyone have any ideas?
