The Ignitor comes on for a bit then shuts off before igniting gas,sometimes it will ignite and work for a while, but very intermittent.Would this be a bad flame sensor or ignitor?

If the ignitor comes on at first, and the gas comes out, and then the dryer cycles off and the ignitor comes on, and then cuts off, with no gas, you need the holding coils on the gas valve.
