MY Kenmore dryer just stop working, It won't make any sounds at all. I opened up the top part of the dryer where the wires are. I saw no burn outs or frayed wires. Everything looked clean. My model/stock no.#97283810 72838 serial no.#MC4702125 MANIFOLD 110 INPUT B.T.U - 22000 CAN YOU GIVE ME AN IDEA WHAT MIGHT BE WRONG?

I Think You Have A Gas Dryer, right? If So The Electrical Part Of A Gas Dryer Is Almost The Same As A Electrical Dryer. That Said, #1 Do You Have Power To Dryer? Tripped Breaker.?#2 Check For Bad Door Switch, Test For Continuty, If No Replace. #3unplug The Unit, Take Out The 8 Or 9 Small Screws From The Back Cover, Remove Lint Hosewith The Back Off You Should See A Thermostat And A Small White Plastic Thermal Fuse A Few Inches From The Exaust Pipe. With A Meter Set For Continuty, Ck That Fuse, If Blown The Motor Won't Run. That Fuse Protects The Motor From Damage . If The Fuse Is Blown, Replace Thermal Fuse And Operating And Hi-limit Thermostates. #4 Your Start Button Could Be Burned Out,to Ck This Unplug One Of The Start Button Wires, Again With Your Continuty Tester Touch Probes, And Push Start Button If No Continuty Replace Start Button. Just My Opinion, Bettyboop
